Andreas Ostwald, *1964 works in the wide field of product development, corporate design and lecturing. Starting as a ceramic modeller these background is still visible in the soft lines of his design shapes. In 2008 he was involved in up-building the design department of the Deutsche Telekom and realised the product manual for OSRAM-Luminaries. His favourite field remains the lighting design after several lighting fixtures for companies from A like Anta up to Z= Zumtobel the technologies forces now new types of light and lamps and luminaries and this will be one challenge for the next years. There are quite a lot of award-winning designs for Philippi: Collections of watches/ tableware and accessories and also medical solutions for Japanese company Sysmex and some new ergonomic toothbrushes for Curaden .. His lecturing at the University of art in Bremen focused on topics like universal design, integrated corporate architecture, systems and structures, fragile constructions and new materials and ergonomics. In the area of architecture, he developed the system of platform roofs for Deutsche Bahn AG, blow up architecture for the nacelle-housing of Powerwind and interior environment for several offices ..
